Since 2018, I’ve worked as a tutor at my college, helping students in anatomy, physiology, microbiology, English, and math. Over and over, I watched students grow tremendously through my review sessions due to taking the time to explain things in detail, break complex topics into digestible pieces, and walk through multiple examples until concepts actually clicked.
In 2020, I entered my nursing program at Imperial Valley College, and in 2022, I graduated as an RN. While completing my RN classes, I was cross-enrolled at San Diego State University to also work toward my BSN, which I earned in 2023. Throughout nursing school, I kept tutoring due to being something I loved, especially when it came to untangling difficult topics for someone hearing them for the first time.
In June 2022, I’ve worked in the Emergency Department. After a year on the floor, I earned the opportunity to become a Charge Nurse and MICN (Mobile Intensive Care Nurse). I carried these duties for the next 4 years in my nursing career. In early 2026, I moved into the Interventional Radiology department, continuing to grow in a field I’m passionate about.
That experience is exactly why I built 4NURS.
My goal with this site is to create a space where anyone can learn anything, regardless of what they already know walking in. I teach every topic as if you’re brand new to it, using multiple examples until it makes sense. I believe strongly in practice questions — not just to memorize, but to actually reveal what you know and what you don’t. That’s why every multiple-choice question here comes with a rationale, explaining not just the right answer, but why the other options are wrong. And because studying without a way to measure progress only gets you so far, I’ve built practice exams designed to show you exactly where you stand and where you still need work.
My vision for 4NURS is simple: no one should need prior knowledge to start. Every lesson is built from the ground up, so whether you’re confident in a subject or seeing it for the first time, you’ll walk away actually understanding it — not just memorizing it long enough to pass a quiz.
I want 4NURS to be the place students come back to again and again, not because they have to, but because it’s where difficult topics finally start making sense.
